I work with found materials which are then separated from their original context to re-situate image, language and objects that give way to new meaning. I'm interested in the history, character, and memory that forms through the erosion of the found objects. It's important that nearly all of the materials are free, unwanted, fragmented, discarded, or no longer of use. My collage process is driven by intuition which invites accident, surprise, and experimentation to the work.
